Watch is well made. It does gain about 10 seconds a day but an excellent watch. Rust strap is for smaller rust and for me that was perfect..

I am thrilled to own this watch! Had my eye on this piece for a while and am glad I pulled the trigger. This is my first hand-wind watch and while some people may find this inconvenient, it is something I look forward to each morning! Swapping out bands is a breeze which makes the watch extremely versatile.

I’m very happy with my new Khaki Field Mechanical. The accuracy's has been very impressive as is the 80-hour power reserve.

Nice easy to read face/arms design. Very good accuracy for a reasonably priced swiss-made mechanical watch. Would like to have the same model without the "complication" (date function). Would like to know more about the "ebauche" (movement) : is it made by ETA ? Is it similar to an ETA 2814 ?

Not quite as accurate as claimed, but these things do tend to improve over time. Excellent assembly and appearance.

For a $500ish watch I expected a better fitting band, the lug to lug is about 49mm, while the watch is a 40mm, had the lugs faced down it would wrap the wrist better. Also the luminescence needs to last much longer than a few minutes. Other than that, its a good quality watch.

Its a very entry level watch but still a relatively expensive watch..So the least hamilton can do is provide a better strap for it.
