I've been waiting this watch for years now, and have been slowly biding my time and funds. Once I received it, the watch is slightly smaller than I expected, but that's not bad. It's very beautiful, however it seems to have what I would call a "loose" rotor. Any tilt of the watch causes the rotor to fall, with a "scraping" sound the entire time it is in motion. When holding the watch vertically and gently touching/tapping it anywhere, it sounds like the rotor inside is vibrating and making contact with adjacent surfaces. It's very loud, and I don't think it's normal. I'm going to check with a local AD to be sure it's abnormal and not just me, and I'm waiting on Hamilton customer service to give me advice on what to do. I expect they will have me ship it to a Hamilton service center for correction. Luckily there is a 2-year warranty I plan to rely on. I hope to update this review once the process has played out.
