It's a beautiful watch. I've been eyeing the Ventura models for some time, and and very happy I waited for the Edge in black. It's stylish, unique & eye catching, and a great price point. The black case and structure against the "bronze" / "copper" color of the dial and the exposed works is very striking and well designed. The red sweep hand is a nice touch that pops subtly as well. My other "skeleton" watches (Tag Carrera, Tag Carerra ceramic, Tag Monaco Titanium) have shades of black and/or grey - very nice of course, but the color choices on Ventura Edge is more aesthetically pleasing in this regard. Rubber strap is great as well. One suggestion: The online documentation (user / operating manual) does not discriminate well between specific models - e.g., for the Ventura Edge it describes locking the crown (common on my diving or water proof watches from other makers) to prevent water intrusion. However, the crown does not lock - it has only a wind and time set position. The product detail also notes " Water Resistance 5 bar (50m)". Confused, I contacted CS, and they clarified / corrected that a) the Edge crown des not lock, and b) it is only (their words) "splash resistant". Thankfully, I had not worn in in. e.g., our pool. One more suggestion: The strap is a bit long and can't be cut without affecting the appearance. Would be great if you offered at least a couple lengths. Again, great watch - very happy with purchase.
