Classic ostrich leather, with a signed Hamilton quick-release clasp (in the Omega style). It goes beautifully with my black-dial Jazzmaster chrono, giving a completely different look from the metal bracelet. It was difficult to fit at first, but a slightly thinner spring pin fixed that. I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist, and like a loose strap. This is exactly the right length, with lots of adjustment either way and the clasp sitting in the right place. Hamilton does not give the lengths of its straps on this website, but they can be found at another website in Holland, if you want to be sure of a correct fit. The straps are not all the same length!
